Target Audience
These activities are designed for pharmacists who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills in specialty pharmacy management of hematologic disorders.
Overview
The Specialty Pharmacy Certificate allows the learner to tailor their learning experience. Each learner will complete the Specialty Pharmacy Foundations, which has over 13 CE hours of content that introduces specialty pharmacy, specialty disease states, and provides the important background education before learners progress on to the advanced pulmonary disease states track.
The learner will then take a deep dive into their selected specialty focus with the Hematologic Disorders Track. These topics include hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand Disease, rare factor disorders, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, and congenital plasminogen deficiency.
Learners may choose to take additional track(s) for additional fee(s).
Specialty Pharmacy Certificate: Hematologic Disorders Requirement
Once a learner has completed the Specialty Pharmacy Fundamentals and the Hematologic Disorders Track educational curriculum, they will have the opportunity to complete the track final exam. Once the learner successfully completes the track final exam (minimum 80% passing rate; unlimited attempts permitted), they will earn the professional certificate.

After the 60-day deadline, ASHP will no longer be able to award credit for this activity.
