Activity Overview
The Clinical Sessions Package is intended for board certified pharmacists in need of recertification credit and is designed based on the content outline developed by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). Using a case-based approach, the activities provide high-level, interactive discussions on contemporary and emerging issues in geriatric pharmacy.
The Geriatric Pharmacy Clinical Sessions Recertification Package consists of 4 activities (see table below) and provides up to 5.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education and/or recertification credit.
These activities are part of the ASHP and ACCP professional development program for BCGP recertification approved by the BPS. For pharmacists who maintain more than one certification, 3 of the activities are approved for multiple specialties (see table below).
These activities were presented as part of the 2023 ACCP Annual Meeting and 2023 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. Learners who claimed ACPE credit for these activities as part of that meeting should not claim ACPE credit again.
